Former NFL quarterback Mark sanchez is no longer with Fox Sports following serious legal trouble.
The network confirmed Friday that the 38-year-old analyst has been let go. This development comes after Sanchez was arrested on October 4th in Indianapolis, where he was covering a game between the Colts and the Raiders.
According too reports from The Athletic, Fox Sports has already tapped former New Orleans saints quarterback Drew Brees to fill the analyst role vacated by Sanchez.
The incident that led to Sanchez’s downfall allegedly occurred near a bar. Reports indicate that Sanchez became involved in an altercation with a delivery driver, identified as Perry Tole. The dispute reportedly began over the parking of the driver’s truck in an alley. Following an alleged pepper-spraying incident, Sanchez is accused of stabbing the 69-year-old man multiple times.

Sanchez faces four charges, including one felony offense. If convicted, he could be sentenced to anywhere from one to six years in prison. The former NFL star has entered a plea of not guilty to all charges.
Adding to his legal woes, the delivery driver has also filed a civil lawsuit against Sanchez and other parties involved.
