Sané Shines: Galatasaray’s Win & First Double

Leroy Sané demonstrated his qualities with his first brace for Galatasaray Istanbul.

The 29-year-old took the lead in the 2-1 (1-0) away win against neighbors Istanbul Basaksehir shortly before half-time (45th + 3), before scoring the final point in the 61st minute.

For Sané it was the number two and three goals of the season in the Süper Lig.

Sané and Gündogan are first in the table with Galatasaray

With 25 points from nine games, defending champions Galatasaray remain at the top of the table, ahead of Trabzonspor (20). Former DFB captain Ilkay Gündogan was also in the starting line-up and was substituted in the 74th minute.
