Founded in 2015 by Christian Brun, the Pays de Souillac Archers club continues its development and now has more than forty licensees, including fifteen young people who discover the joys of the discipline every week. “Our objective is to transmit the values of archery: concentration, precision and respect for the opponent,” recalls the president of the club.
If the competitions are important, the volunteers insist mainly on the conviviality that characterizes the life of the club. “Archery is not only a matter of medals, it is also a moment of sharing between generations.”
This season promises to be rich in meetings: November 8 and 9, 2025 with a competition 18 meters at the Palais des Congrès de Souillac, January 18, 2026 with the Festival of Saint-Sébastien, boss of the Archers, and March 1, 2026 with a competition 18 beginners, also at the Palais des Congrès.
These deadlines will precede the regional championships scheduled for February, where the club hopes to confirm its progress and continue to make its colors shine. In Souillac, the arrows definitely always seem to find their target.
