Rennes, france – september 25, 2025 – Teh halls of Beaulieu’s Amphitheater C buzzed with energy Thursday night as students from the University of rennes and Rennes 2 University gathered for the 19th Annual University Sports Trophies. This prestigious ceremony honored the remarkable achievements of student-athletes who competed at national and international university championships throughout the 2024-2025 season. Nearly 100 student-athletes took to the stage,their collective medal count a testament to their dominance: a staggering 17 gold medals,20 silver medals,and 14 bronze medals. Beyond the podium finishes, the universities also secured notable international rankings, with a 5th place in Padel and a 17th place in Beach Volleyball, showcasing a broad spectrum of athletic prowess.

The evening, following addresses from university presidents, the VP of Sport, and directors from LBSU and Siuaps, was a vibrant festivity of what makes student sports so compelling.
