Ahn Se -young (Samsung Life), a ‘Shuttlecock Empress’, which has gained tremendous momentum this year, earned nearly 800 million won in prizes.
Ahn Se -young won two consecutive games by winning the 2025 World Badminton Federation (BWF) World Tour Super 750 China Masters held in Shenzhen in China.
The total prize money at the competition was $ 1.25 million, and Ahn Se -young will receive $ 8750, which is 7%of the total prize money, depending on the prize distribution standards defined by BWF.
BWFs differ in winning prizes for each competition grade. In the case of women’s singles, the World Tour Finals will be 8%of the total prize money and 750 super 1000 and 750 tournaments, and 7.5%of the Super 500, 300, and 100 tournaments.
Ahn Se -young reached the summit at three super 750 tournaments including the Malaysia Open, Jeon Young Open, and Indonesia Open, and three super 750 tournaments including India Open, Japan Open, and China Masters. It was third in the Chinese Open, the Super 1000 tournament, and was eliminated in the quarter -finals at the Singapore Open, which was the Super 750 tournament. There are no prizes for the World Championships, which were eliminated from the semifinals.
