The basics, patience, balance and details were rubbed. Pether Markne, who is A-coach in both jumping and dressage, liked to have the two branches at the same time in the manege.
– Now you are interested in each other’s branches, riding is riding and I think that is liberating. Johanna and André are living proof of that. They are different as individuals but they are curious and give each other something. They have good coaches and systems but they are open to thinking new, and you have to be if you want to get anywhere. Johanna is really a role model for dressage sports and both André and Johanna ride very well, says Pether Markne.
And even on the stand you liked the mix.
– I am a dressage rider but like André and his horse philosophy very much. I listen to a pod that he is in and I am impressed him and his way of looking at how to ride and manage horses. He is soft in his way and has some new thinking. And Johanna had incredibly nice horses, they became very ridiculous, says Ulrika Lönn.
– It has been very inspiring with both dressage and jumping. And at this high level as well. I also liked that Johanna was so positive with her horse.
