Development of DX human resources through university sports support

This contract for supporting club activities is based on the industry-academia collaboration between Asia Quest and Kyoto University of Advanced Science, which has been in operation since 2024, and is intended to contribute to the development of next-generation human resources and the promotion of university sports.

Through supporting the women’s basketball club’s activities, we will further promote human resource development efforts at Kyoto University of Advanced Science.

This agreement is the first contract at Kyoto University of Advanced Science to support club activities by a company.

The state of the fastening ceremony

On the day of the conclusion ceremony, Tomabechi Rei, Secretary General of Kyoto University of Advanced Science, and Momoi Jun, President and CEO of the Company, were present, and the contract was signed.

In his speech, Momoi said

“I would like to strongly support the players by sympathizing with the philosophy and activity of the Kyoto University of Advanced Science Women’s Basketball Club.

I heard that the wonderful results were not only the efforts of the team members, but also the creation of an environment through staff teams, the existence of mental strengthening programs, and thorough team building.

This is also well-versed in the business field, so I hope that you can learn a lot from this as well.”

As Asian Quest and Kyoto University of Advanced Science have become more and more involved, including the establishment of the social collaboration course last year, the Capstone Program and the conclusion of the comprehensive collaboration agreement,

This is the first time we have at the university that we will contract with companies to support club activities, and will likely increase the enthusiasm of our members and will lead to a leap in the future.”

He raised his expectations for this agreement.

After the agreement was concluded, Mr. Takimoto, the advisor, said:

“We would like to present the possibilities of new forms of sports through initiatives that we have started to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic, such as teaching English-incorporating instruction and mental programs.

Future developments

Under this agreement, our logo will be displayed at team wear and match venues. Regarding the future, we will also be discussing multifaceted collaborations, including digitally utilizing competition support and education and career support.
