Kanpur: Second Cosco Kanpur district badminton Championship will be played at Ragendra Swaroop Sports Academy from July 5 to 7. Secretary Kanpur District Badminton Association DP Singh said that the championship is for U-17 and 19 years age group boys & girls. Singles, doubles and mixed double events would be held. On the basis of the performance in this meet, district team will be selected which would represent district in forthcoming state badminton championship. Interested players may register themselves on www.kdba.co.in by July 3. Thereafter no entry would be accepted, he added.Summer camp conclusion: The closing function of summer camps held at Green Park by sports directorate and sports promotion committee will be held on Friday.
