Preparation: Ostigard, Kamara, Yildirim, Salah, Omari… What players reinstated in the recovery?
For its resumption of training on June 27, Stade Rennais had to develop its group and exempt several players with their agreement.
It is a vast project that is held today at Piverdière, literally and figuratively. While the construction of the PIV 2 follows its course, Stade Rennais must tackle a very wide, too wide workforce. In this sense, it was necessary to draw the contours of the recovery group, this Friday, June 27.
Yildirim and Salah back, Santamaria too
They are 13 players loaned last season to make their return, “technically”, in the Rennes ranks, but they will not be as much on the lawn for the field recovery on Monday, June 30. Thus, Baptiste Santamaria, Fabian Rieder, Ibrahim Salah and Bertug Yildirim will be of Rennes, the club wanted to gauge the continuation of their situation for next season.
The departure on loan from Albert Gronbaek to Genoa, while the Danish was invited by the club to return this summer, led to the return of Salah, loaned to Brest last season. As for Yildirim, he could integrate the rotation with Kader Meïté this season, but a weight successor will be sought to overcome the departure of Arnaud Kalimuendo, planned by the club. In defense, the young Abdelhamid Aït Boudlal is also expected to join the group.
Ostigard, Omari and Sishuba exempt
But we also had to find common ground with several players, “Exempted with their agreement”. This is the case of Leo Ostigard, eager to join Hoffenheim where he had been on loan since January, but also Glen Kamara, Warmed Omari, Mohamed Jaouab, Alan Do Marcolino, Wilson Samaké and Ayanda Sishuba.
All will have more days to find a solution to their future, which does not register at Stade Rennais, as it stands.
Rose, mukiele and silistry integrated into the pros
To make up for the absence of internationals still engaged in competition or having played after the end of the season and therefore having several additional days of vacation, the Stade Rennais will be able to count on its academy.
Several young people will be able to join the pro group on Monday: Lucas Rosier, Nordan Mukiele, Florian Truffert, Ayoub Akabou and Mathys Silistrie in particular. Regarding rose, Mukiele and Silistria, they will join the pro group next season, Silistrie will be number 3 in the goals, behind Brice Samba and Dogan Alemdar (the situation of the Turk remaining uncertain, however).
