The Castel Archers Club hosted the Brittany Archery Championships, a weekend-long spectacle of precision and skill, in Plogastel-Saint-Germain on February 8th and 9th. The club’s impressive organizational prowess was evident, showcasing a dedication to both the sport and the spirit of camaraderie.

Over 50 dedicated volunteers from the Castel Archers Club ensured a smooth and welcoming experience for the 46 competing teams. The weekend’s competition featured a diverse range of events, including 16 men’s teams and 8 women’s teams in classic archery, 11 men’s teams and 11 mixed teams in pulley archery, and a captivating display of bare-bow archery.

The Castel Archers’ bare-bow team, composed of Emmanuel Meignen, Jean-Marie Louboutin, Joseph Margerin du Metz, and Thomas Le Doze, demonstrated extraordinary teamwork and skill. In a nail-biting small final, they edged out the Rennes team to secure third place. The victory was a testament to their dedication and precision.
