## ASD Arcieri Langhe e Roero Shines at teh 8th “Trofeo della Befana”
The 8th edition of the “Trofeo della Befana,” a prestigious interregional archery competition,took place last weekend at the Priocca gymnasium. Thirty archery clubs participated, including renowned teams like Fiamme Azzurre, Fiamme oro, and Aeronautica Militare, showcasing top-tier athletes such as alessandro Paoli, Marco Bruno, Chiara Rebagliati, and Marco Morello.[[1]This tournament, sanctioned by the Italian Archery Federation, was held on an 18-meter indoor range.[[1]The local club, ASD Arcieri Langhe e Roero, led by president Monica Mina, achieved remarkable success. In the Compound bow discipline, their junior female team secured frist place, with Elisabetta Messina, Emma Dutto, and Lucia Manfredi, all local athletes, claiming the top three spots.[[1]The competition witnessed impressive performances across various categories. In the Compound Bow division, Christian Messina emerged victorious in the Allievi male category, while Paolo Dutto secured a commendable 9th place in the Master male category.[[1]in the olympic Bow category, Silvia Gozzellino achieved a strong 5th place overall in the Master female category. Christian Valsania secured a podium finish with a 3rd place in the Junior male category, and Lorenzo Depetris placed 20th in the Master male category.[[1]The Bare Bow category also saw notable performances from ASD Arcieri Langhe e Roero athletes. Barbara Sandron achieved a 6th place finish, while Fabrizio Boffa and Maurizio Giubellino placed 9th and 11th respectively in the Master category.Giovanni Palmieri narrowly missed the podium, finishing 4th in the Senior male category.
