Not even Nick Wright, one of the greatest haters of the Boston Celtics in circulation, can deny how good Jayson Tatum was before the NBA season came to a sharp halt.
Wright unveiled his personal list of All-NBA teams on Tuesday and the host of “First Things First” put Tatum on his third team. However, it was Wright’s decision on how to rank Anthony Davis in the first team that opened a place for the young Celtics star.
“Hey, Celtic fans, for everyone who says I hate Jayson Tatum, if I had put Anthony Davis as a striker, Jayson Tatum wouldn’t have made this list,” Wright said. “But I put Anthony Davis in the middle, allowing Tatum to move on.”
Look:
The most difficult omissions here have been Jimmy Butler and Kyle Lowry, but I think they are quite unbalanced.
Also, if you count AD as Forward instead of Center, you can get Gobert or Embiid on the list, but Tatum loses his third place Team Forward. https://t.co/ECBKnGgxHb

Honestly, this is a solid list. No complaints.
Tatum averaged 23.6 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game – playing a great defense – before the suspension of the NBA season. He and the Celtics will resume their campaign on July 31 when they face the Milwaukee Bucks.
