Six Women Arrested in Sant’Antimo for Brutal Baseball Bat Attack
In a shocking incident that has gripped teh province of Naples, six women aged between 22 and 44 were arrested by the Carabinieri in Sant’Antimo for their alleged involvement in a violent assault on a 34-year-old man. The attack, which occurred on October 2, involved baseball bats and a gunshot wound, stemming from a romantic dispute.
A Punitive Expedition Gone Wrong
The man was reportedly attacked by the group, which included a 30-year-old male who fired the gunshot that wounded the victim in the leg. The 30-year-old was arrested weeks later and is currently in prison on charges of aggravated assault and illegal possession of a firearm. The six women, arrested on the orders of the investigating judge of the Naples North court, face charges of complicity in aggravated assault.Five of them are under house arrest, while one was taken to Secondigliano prison after being found in possession of 100 grams of cocaine during the arrest.

The group, all related to each other, targeted the 34-year-old man, who is the ex-husband of the 30-year-old’s current partner. According to investigators, the attackers ambushed the victim on the street, with the women wielding baseball bats and the man firing gunshots. The victim was rescued and taken to Frattamaggiore hospital,where he recounted the brutal beating to authorities.
