The BoxUp locker is designed to adapt to the seasons, ensuring year-round accessibility. This winter, users can borrow snowshoes—four pairs for adults and two for children. Come summer,the locker will stock soccer balls,volleyballs,spikeball sets,Finnish bowling equipment,and even baseball gear.This rotating inventory ensures that everyone, regardless of age or interest, can find something to enjoy.
The initiative is part of a broader effort to promote healthy lifestyles and make parks and green spaces more inviting. By removing barriers like cost and accessibility, Bécancour is empowering its community to embrace outdoor activities.
