Rugby legend Mark Geyer believes that Canberra coach Ricky Stuart will not choose outgoing star John Bateman again this year.
It comes after the Raiders confirmed on Tuesday that Bateman would leave the capital club at the end of the season.
The English star backrower is now looking for a new club, and Raiders coach Ricky Stuart passionately aimed at player agent Isaac Moses.
Stuart accused Moses of “upset” and “manipulated” clubs to do big business for his customers, but not always in the player’s best interest.

Stuart said he had no problem with Bateman himself, but Geyer targeted the player on his Triple M radio show The Rushhour.
“I don’t allow any player to get as much money as possible,” said Geyer.
“This is the hardest game in the world, I don’t treat anyone. I treat myself to how they do it.

“Be face to face, be man to man. Shake my hand and say until later. I love being here, but it’s time to go home. It’s time to go back to Wigan or make more money.
“But don’t hide in the shade. Be transparent, you make more friends.
“Is he on the road (injured) for the rest of the year or not? No (I would not choose him). “
When asked if we saw the last Bateman in lime green, said Geyer; “Unfortunately yes”.
Bateman has had a shoulder injury last season, but hopes to be fit and available in the second half of the year.
