The disappointments keep coming for Ons Jabeur in 2024.
Two victories in seven matches and four defeats in a row, this is the Tunisian’s catastrophic record this season.
In tears on the court in Abu Dhabi, eliminated in Doha by Lesia Tsurenko, forfeited in Dubai due to a knee injury and left in Indian Wells by the 121st in the world, the number 6 in the WTA ranking was unable to cope from this very bad patch in Miami where she lost against the young Russian Elina Avanesyan (6−1, 4–6, 6–3).

“It’s no secret, everyone knows I want to win Wimbledon. But I think the preparation starts now”, declared Ons Jabeur last February. Suffice to say that the preparation is off to a bad start.
