Departure at FC Dornbirn – Silvan Kriz ends his professional career

After only six months at FC Dornbirn, Silvan Kriz ended his involvement with the Rothosen at his own request.

Kriz is therefore withdrawing from professional football and will switch to the private sector, as the club announced in a press release. The club complied with the 22-year-old’s request and terminated the contract on March 1st.

“It’s a shame for the club that Silvan made that decision. He’s a great player and just as good a person. When new paths open up in life, we respect that and give him our greatest respect for his decision,” said Dornbirn sports director Eric Orie to leave. “We wish him all the best in his future life and thank him for his commitment,” said Orie.

Kriz moved from FC Winterthur to Birkenwiese in the summer of 2022. The Swiss midfielder played in ten league games at FC Dornbirn.
