The NFL has partnered with Netflix to launch a new serie call Quarterback which will premiere in 2023 with Patrick Mahomes, champion and Most Valuable Player (MVP) of Super Bowl LVII. The 27-year-old athlete will be the protagonist of the first season.
The first installment will tell the story of the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback; Kirk Cousins of the Minnesota Vikings and Marcus Mariota
“I’m excited for fans to get an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at an unforgettable season for the entire Chiefs organization and my family,” said Mahomes, who will lead production on serie through his production house, 2PM Productions.
The appeal of Quarterback It is that for the first time in history the NFL allowed the leading quarterbacks to have microphones during each game of the season so that viewers will be able to hear them in each episode.
“This new serie of Netflix will show the timing, preparation and balance it takes to be an NFL quarterback and perform on the biggest stage in the world,” said Mahomes, who led the Chiefs to the Vince Lombardi Trophy win over the Philadelphia Eagles last year. February 12.
