With soccer, basketball and volleyball, the UMSNH will promote the sport

Classes will be offered in three sports disciplines, as well as physical conditioning.

Morelia, Michoacan. The Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo (UMSNH) will start a sports program in the disciplines of soccer, basketball and volleyball, as well as physical conditioning, aimed at all Nicolaitas students who like sports.

The Highest House of Studies in the state seeks to promote synergy between academic and sports activities, so students who are interested in participating can approach the Department of University Sports and Infrastructure.

It is not a requirement that you be a high-performance athlete, but if you want to grow in sport or get active for health and a taste for your favorite discipline, you can participate.

The classes will be twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., the activities will start this coming February 14. The meeting point will be in the fields that are located next to the Multiple Use Auditorium of the University.

The head of the Department of University Sports and Infrastructure, Gustavo Farías Echenique, indicated that the coaches who will be participating are highly qualified and will meet the level of each student in the chosen sport, he explained that they are teachers who have been sensitized to the needs of the students to have physical conditioning. While he commented that it is an unprecedented activity at the Universidad Michoacana.

The conditioning classes for the students will have no cost, the requirements are very simple, be enrolled in the UMNSH and want to start training.
