“I am very happy that we agreed so quickly. I am happy in Brno, it was my priority. It’s a contract for the next two seasons, so I won’t have to deal with anything again in a year. I’m glad that the owner of Zbrojovka, Mr. Bartoněk, got into it like this and we found common ground,” Řezníček praises himself.
Zbrojovka coach Richard Dostálek is also satisfied. “There was not much to solve, nobody wants to lose such a footballer. Cuba, the club management and us coaches were very interested in him continuing with us. He is an extremely important player for us,” he says.
Brno footballers overwintered in eleventh place. “The goals for the spring are clearly set. We would like to move away from the bottom of the table as quickly as possible and experience the most peaceful six months possible. And we want to go as far as possible in the cup as well. I would like to contribute to this with more goals,” Řezníček wishes. The captain of Zbrojovka scored eleven goals in the top competition in the autumn. He is still ten short of joining the League Gunners’ Club.
