Vigo and Vitoria have been both last points meeting point for Club Athlos with badminton. In two Master tournaments, the youth squads of the entity in Galician lands and the seniors in Basque lands accumulated four more national medals.
The National Master of Vigo attended the Ourenses Antón González, Daniel Álvarez, Xoel Álvarez, Gael Rodríguez Santamaría, Martina Llamas, Paula Casas, Gael Rodríguez Pérez, Lucía Cid, Noa Martínez, Mariña González, Beatriz López and Emma Pedrera. The duo Daniel Álvarez-Antón González achieved silver in the U-13 boys’ doubles. The first of them doubled the podium, with individual bronze. In addition, Xoel Álvarez climbed to the third step of the podium in the U-17 men’s doubles, forming a tandem with Adrián Rodríguez, from CB As Neves.
The presence of the Athlos It was completed last weekend in the N4 Senior National Master, reserved for veteran categories. There were Francisco Javier Galicia and Dolores Sarmiento. The latter won bronze in the individual table C1-C2-D.
