Cargnin defeated Uzbek Shakhram Akhadov in the men’s 73kg (light) final, breaking his ten-year streak without a World Masters champion – the last men’s gold went to Rafael Silva, Baby, in the 2012 edition, in Almaty ( Kazakhstan).
