The French. Football: echoes of Sporting

Not much to say about last weekend since the two teams did not participate in the meetings due to impassable ground. On the other hand, serious things resume on Saturday December 3 at 8:30 p.m., with the departure of the D3 team at Montbartier. Sunday 4 at 3 p.m., the D1 receives Saint-Étienne-de-Tulmont, at the Gouges-Boutal stadium. These two meetings are very important for the rest of the championship, and Cyril Busquet and Christophe Mourgues will have to motivate their players to obtain favorable results because there will only be one meeting left before the long end-of-year holiday break.

Meeting. Sunday 4 at 10:30 a.m., monthly office meeting at the clubhouse, followed by a convivial meal before the meeting of the day.

Tribute to the referees. It’s not that easy to enter a football field to referee a game. You have to be in good physical condition, know the rules to perfection, enforce them and above all control the situation throughout the game. These few lines are addressed to the players; if they want the referee to be very good, they must be too: no simulations, no disputes and respect for opponents and partners. From time to time, it is necessary to pay tribute to the referees, even at the departmental level, because the rules are the same as soon as one enters a field with the whistle in hand.
