To everyone’s surprise, Utah has been among the best teams since the resumption of competition. And this while the franchise can no longer count on Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell… The two stars were also cut after the success against the Lakers.
Along with the Blazers, the Jazz is undeniably the biggest surprise of the start of the season. While the Mormons were waiting for it in the bottom of the Western Conference, they are currently in third position with a superb record of 7 wins and three losses. Their recent victory against the Lakers perfectly illustrates how badly they are: 130 points scored at 50% shooting (42% from afar) and 31 assists.
A rather crazy observation, when we know that Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell both left the ship during the summer. This was to announce the end of a cycle for Salt Lake City, but it is not so thanks to newcomer Lauri Markannen (22 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists per game). But at the end of the day, it’s the team as a whole that’s fun to watch, as noted by a journalist from Bleacher Report who follows her on a daily basis:
Fans delighted with the new Jazz team
It’s hilarious that the Jazz are more likable and possibly better than they were last season.

An opinion shared by many Utah fans, who took the opportunity to deliver some big tackles to the ex-stars of the franchise:
They’re better no doubt. Last year, there’s a lot of turmoil going in with their “stars” and the power struggle is evident. This year, they have a group of talented guys who play for one another and have no egos to feed. ????

They are definitely better. Last year there was a lot of commotion with their “stars” and the power struggle is evident. This year they have a talented group of guys who play for each other and have no egos to feed.
It’s cause they don’t have French Roy Hibbert on their team anymore

It’s because the French Roy Hibbert (former NBA pivot, editor’s note) is no longer there
We had more hope in the older team. But we like this team way more. It’s all heart on the floor right now. Won’t win one playoff series tho

We had more hope in the old team, but we like this team a lot more. They’re giving it their all on the court right now, even if they won’t win a playoff series.
Impossible to know if the success of the Jazz will last a long time, but the group of the neo-coach Will Hardy has in any case conquered the local public. We can only wish the Mormons that this popularity can continue, because everyone always expects them to finish high in the next draft.
