Twenty-five associations and sports activities have invaded the historic center of Campli in a big party, without borders. Wanted by the municipal administration and by the Csi Teramo, the second edition of Borgo Sport was a success as evidenced by the Mayor Federico Agostinelli with his administration and by the number one of the Csi Teramo: Angelo De Marcellis.
Many realities present that showed their activities: rugby, hiking, rhythmic gymnastics, basketball, volleyball, skating, mountain biking and cycling, football, ballet, modern, contemporary and Caribbean specialties, horse riding, Nordic walking, yoga . And then boules, sport fishing and paragliding stands with all the information to practice these disciplines. Beautiful dance performances, practical tests of various sports such as horse riding, handball, rugby, the Monti Gemelli Bike cycling tour and the excursion promoted by CAI and ASD Omnia Sport. The testimonies of great champions such as Stefano Maniscalco world champion in karate, Emanuele Bruno European champion Judo 73kg, Carla Flammini world champion in Compak Sporting in Skeet shooting, Nando Calzetta world champion in Kickboxing are very passionate. The 92-year-old veteran cyclist Domenico Barlecchini and the young hope of enduro mountain biking, Loris Serafini, but also the falconer Giovanni Granati with the beautiful Athena, who bear the name of Abruzzo and also of Campli in the world, were awarded.
