Recruited into a National 2 team – the Garonne ASPTT – in the 2020 off-season, Akaemji Williams (1.73m, 26 years old) was one of the great architects of Angers’ National 1 title. shots, 3.2 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 3.7 steals and 3.7 stray bullets for 16.8 rating in 28 minutes on average over 35 games played (30 wins). The Detroit native will now discover the Pro B with the EAB since he extended for the 2022-2023 season. Former resident of an NCAA II university program, the little leader will now try to win at this level alongside five other players born in the 2021-2022 squad (Malonga, Gauthier, Morose, Lavieille and Hawmmond) and under the orders of a new coach, Ali Bouziane.
