Many fans will accompany Eintracht to the final of the Europa League in Seville. Officially, however, only 10,000 fans are allowed to support the team in the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán stadium in the Andalusian capital. Many more are expected.

Eintracht Frankfurt has received a contingent of 10,000 tickets for the Europa League final in Seville. The Hessians announced this two days after entering the final on Saturday. Coach Oliver Glasner’s team meets Glasgow Rangers on May 18 (9 p.m. in the FAZ live ticker and on RTL) in the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán, which has a capacity of around 44,000 spectators.

It can be “assumed that the available supply will far exceed demand,” the Frankfurt statement said. Almost 30,000 spectators accompanied Eintracht to the quarter-final second leg at FC Barcelona. At the Olympic Stadium in London, only 3,000 guest fans were officially present in the semi-final first leg at West Ham United, also because of rigorous ticket controls.

Ticket sales for the final in Spain against the Scottish record champions began on Saturday and will run until Monday (10 a.m.).
