Hamburg (dpa / lno) – Bundesliga basketball team Hamburg Towers goes into the game at the front runner Telekom Baskets Bonn on Sunday (6 p.m.). The guards Jaylon Brown and Justus Hollatz will be missing. Brown was not used against Bamberg on Wednesday due to muscular problems in the hip. Hollatz, on the other hand, buckled in the first quarter without any outside interference.
The all-clear for Corona has been given for the time being. After 11 positive cases had become known during the week at Alba Berlin, which played in the Hanseatic city last Sunday, all tests at the Towers have so far been negative. The club announced on Friday.
Regardless of that, the Hanseatic League faces a difficult task in Bonn after the defeats against Alba and Bamberg. “They are only playing in one competition this year, and thanks to their seven import players, they can cope with a failure and thus manage to keep the intensity in every game very high,” emphasized Calles.
