A professional basketball player disappeared in Mexico

There is concern in Mexico for the basketball player, Alexis Cervantes, who has been missing for a week.

These days, the National Professional Basketball League (LNBP) of Mexico took advantage of its Twitter profile to make a request for help, addressed to citizens, in order to locate the Mexican basketball player, star of the Libertadores de Querétaro.

The player was last seen on Tuesday, December 21, in the Mexican state of Michoacán. According to the LNBP, the athlete was playing a tournament in the town of Crimbo, Tancítaro region.

Before disappearing, it was learned that he was traveling to Guadalajara to meet his family and spend the holidays with them in the state of Sinaloa. That day, in the middle of the journey, Alexis Cervantes spoke with his wife for the last time.

The young athlete is a well-known figure in Mexico since he played in several professional teams of the national basketball league. He is 2.1 meters tall and before he disappeared, he carried on his back a backpack engraved with his last name.
