Weißenfels / dpa / MZ – Leon Friederici no longer plays for the Syntainics MBC Bundesliga basketball team. As the team from Weißenfels announced on Monday, the contract was terminated with immediate effect at the request of the Shooting Guard. According to the club, the 26-year-old is switching to a league competitor who pays a transfer fee.
Friederici had only moved to Weißenfels in June. The MBC emphasized that it was “not dissatisfied” with the development of the player, but that it complied with his request for a contract termination. Friederici was dissatisfied with his playing times with the “Wolves” and was recently not even considered by coach Igor Jovovic.
