Yesterday the police officers, during the territorial control service, on the instructions of the Operations Center, intervened in Corso Umberto to report two young people armed with a knife. The policemen tracked down the two and found them in possession of two butterfly knives with the blade about 12 cm long; A 17-year-old from Nola and a 20-year-old from Avellino, both with police records, were reported for abusive carrying of weapons.
Furthermore, on the same morning, the operators intervened at the Vecchio Pellegrini hospital for a person in a state of agitation and in possession of a knife. The officers, who arrived at the scene, were approached by a security guard who said that, shortly before, he had disarmed a patient because he had threatened the health staff by brandishing a 20 cm long folding knife. In the afternoon of the same day the Nibbio, while passing through via Firenze at the corner of via Milano, noticed a young man on board a scooter without a protective helmet and stopped him. The boy, a 15 year old from Castel Volturno, was found in possession of a telescopic truncheon and, for this reason, reported for carrying objects capable of offending and was also sanctioned for driving without a license since never achieved and driving without a helmet. Finally, the scooter was subjected to administrative detention and the minor entrusted to the parents.
