On the evening of Saturday, October 23, the award ceremony of the trophies to the winners of the first stage of the solo transatlantic regatta of character International Mini Transat EuroChef 2021, where both authorities, organizers, athletes, public and private entities, as well as the same fleet of the regatta made up of 87 skippers and their companions who visited the island on the occasion of the event, lived a cozy and familiar moment.

The Real Club Náutico de Santa Cruz de La Palma, which organizes the stopover of the prestigious biennial regatta, acted as host in the act of awarding trophies and gifts to sailors. A solidarity banner was displayed on stage in support of the people affected by the Cumbre Vieja volcano, being a very emotional moment for those present.
