PSV will play with the attackers Noni Madueke and Cody Gakpo in the home match against last-placed PEC Zwolle (start: 9 p.m.). Madueke was injured on September 22 in the won game against Go Ahead Eagles (1-2). The British attacker then missed two league matches and a Europa League match, away against Sturm Graz (1-4).
Gakpo suffered a head injury during the international match with the Orange. He has since fully recovered from that. Davy Pröpper has also recovered from an injury. The midfielder starts on the bench in Eindhoven.
PSV coach Roger Schmidt cannot have Ritsu Doan, Maxi Romero and Ryan Thomas against PEC Zwolle. They are not fit.

Ajax has resumed the competition after the previous international match with a difficult victory. The team of trainer Erik ten Hag was too strong for sc Heerenveen (0-2) in Friesland and thus remains at the top of the Eredivisie.

Feyenoord – RKC
Feyenoord has lost the first points in De Kuip this season in the Eredivisie. The team of trainer Arne Slot had to settle for 2-2 in an exciting match against RKC Waalwijk. For the home team, Jens Toornstra (1-0) and Guus Til (2-2) scored. On behalf of RKC, Jens Odgaard and Vurnon Anita were accurate.
AZ – FC Utrecht
The sub-topper of the weekend is between AZ and FC Utrecht. The Alkmaarders won 28 of the previous 40 editions. FC Utrecht won last season in the AFAS Stadium with a goal from midfielder Sander van de Streek (0-1).
The AZ-FC Utrecht match is also a battle between two Greek strikers. Vangelis Pavlidis came over from Willem II last summer and has to score the goals for AZ. FC Utrecht has Anastasios Douvikas at their disposal.
