Serie A: Rassimus at Milan against Lazio – public prosecutor’s office determined – football

It’s the next racism scandal in Italy.

During the game between Milan and Lazio (2-0) on Sunday there was a lot of stress and turmoil. And racist insults against the dark-skinned Milan stars Tiemoué Bakayoko (27) and Franck Kessié (24)!

Bakayoko reported about this on his Instagram channel. Now the Italian Football Association announced that the public prosecutor’s office is investigating Lazio Rome.

Bakayoko, who had to be replaced after only 13 minutes, wrote on Instagram: “To some Lazio fans and their racist screams in the direction of me and my brother Franck Kessie. We are strong and proud of the color of our skin. I fully trust our association that they can be identified. “

There were monkey noises and racist chants as Kessie and Bakayoko entered the square. This was also the case when Kessie took on a penalty (45 + 6) and missed it, although he is actually a very reliable shooter (21/25 hit for Milan).

Afterwards, Milan put an ad because of the racist shouts and chants of the Lazio fans. This does not go unanswered: The Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office has launched an investigation against Lazio Rome.

For this purpose, the videos of the game and the documents that are in the possession of the Milan Police Headquarters are evaluated. The Italian football association announced on Friday.

There are always racism scandals in Italian football. Among other things, Chelsea star Romelu Lukaku (28) had to struggle with this during his time at Inter. Mario Balotelli (31) was also the victim of racist insults in January 2020, the perpetrators were also supporters of Lazio Rome. Lazio then had to pay a fine of 20,000 euros.

Some idiots at Lazio have apparently learned from this: nothing. Milan gave the best answer on the pitch. AC won 2-0 thanks to goals from Rafael Leão (45th) and Zlatan Ibrahimovic (66th).

After the end of the game there were also turbulent scenes on the pitch – Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri (62) clashed with Milan’s Alexis Saelemaekers (22). The referee showed the coach red to separate the two. Ibrahimovic was also there, saying to his team-mate: “You have to show respect!”. In retrospect, Saelemaekers apologized.

However, there is no excuse for racist insults – the investigations against the Lazio supporters are ongoing. If the allegations are confirmed, it will be the next big racism scandal in series A.
