Silver medalist at the Tokyo Olympics in doubles with his partner Ivan Dodig, Marin Cilic spoke about a possible entry into the Hall of Fame, just days after the entry of his compatriot and former coach Goran Ivanisevic.
” I do not know. It will be decided by the people who will make those decisions. Goran Ivanisevic deserved to be named to the Tennis Hall of Fame much earlier. Who knows, maybe this will happen to me too. I managed to win the US Open and achieve many other successes around the same time as Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer. I also won the Davis Cup and I don’t want to stop there ”, said a Marin Cilic who, by not wanting to comment, clearly pleads in his favor.
