Galapagar Hosts Diverse Sports Events Throughout November

Galapagar schedules five sports events for November across municipal venues

The municipality of Galapagar will host five sports competitions and training camps throughout November, featuring tennis, padel, archery, and wheelchair hockey, La Voz de la Sierra reported. Events will take place across the Polideportivo Municipal Marcelo Escudero and the Velódromo Tasio Greciano with participation from various regional clubs and national sports federations.

The month-long calendar begins with the 14th edition of the Federado de Tenis tournament. Organized by C.D.E. Elite Tenis Galapagar, the tennis matches run from November 6 through November 22, operating daily between 09:00 and 23:00 local time.

Padel tournaments at the municipal sports center

C.D.E. Sportive is promoting two Pozos de Pádel sessions at the Polideportivo Municipal on Saturdays, November 7 and November 21, scheduled from 17:00 to 20:00.

In addition, Pádel Precisión organizes a Ranking Pádel test at the same municipal facility on Sunday, November 8. That competition runs from 17:00 to 21:30.

Archery championship acts as national qualifier

The official regional competition highlight arrives on November 14 with the second round of the Liga FMTA de Sala alongside the 23rd San Sebastián Archery Trophy. Club Arqueros 10 Galapagar organizes the tournament under the umbrella of the Ranking Autonómico Unificado de Sala (RAUS).

Archers from youth categories up to senior and veteran divisions will compete in recurve, compound, barebow, traditional, and longbow disciplines. Scores recorded during the event serve as official qualifiers for the upcoming Spanish Indoor Archery Championship.

Wheelchair hockey national training camp closes November

The Velódromo Tasio Greciano hosts a national training camp for the Spanish Wheelchair Hockey Team on the final weekend of the month, spanning November 28 and November 29. The Spanish Federation of Sports for Persons with Disabilities coordinates the weekend sessions.

Training opens on Saturday, November 28, running continuously from 09:00 to 20:00. The camp concludes on Sunday, November 29, with morning drills scheduled from 09:00 until 14:00.
