Derrick Henry passes Tomlinson for 7th all-time rushing

The Jacksonville Jaguars handed the Baltimore Ravens a 33-10 defeat Thursday night, with undrafted quarterback Joe Fagnano completing just 10 of 18 passes for 60 yards and throwing two interceptions in his first NFL start, RDS reported. Fagnano got the nod only after injuries sidelined Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley, leaving Baltimore with no established option under center.

Fagnano, a player who went undrafted, was pressed into action and could not move the offense consistently against a Jaguars defense that had a clear plan.

Fagnano’s Night Ends Quickly

Fagnano’s stat line told the story: 10 completions on 18 attempts, 60 yards and two picks. The Ravens managed only a 53-yard field goal from Jake Moody on their opening drive, and the offense never found rhythm after that. In a sign of how dire the situation had become, Derrick Henry completed the first pass of the game for Baltimore, hitting Zay Flowers on a play that went nowhere.

Justice Hill did provide one bright spot for the Ravens in a lost cause, scoring on a 65-yard run, but by then the outcome was already decided.

Henry Climbs to Seventh on the All-Time Rushing List

Even in defeat, Henry added a milestone. The 32-year-old back moved into seventh place on the NFL’s all-time rushing list with 13,707 yards, passing LaDainian Tomlinson (13,684) on a five-yard run in the second quarter and Jerome Bettis earlier in the game. Curtis Martin sits sixth at 14,101 yards. Henry was held to 57 yards on 17 carries as Jacksonville’s defense focused on slowing him down.

Lawrence and the Jaguars’ Offense Click Early

Trevor Lawrence played cleanly for Jacksonville, throwing for 242 yards and one touchdown as the Jaguars improved to six wins in eight games this season. Bhayshul Tuten capped a seven-play, 77-yard opening drive with a one-yard touchdown run. Late in the second quarter, Lawrence found Parker Washington, who raced 50 yards for a score that gave Jacksonville a 17-3 lead at halftime.

While Baltimore’s defense limited the damage in stretches, it gave Jaguars kicker Cam Little plenty of work, and Little converted three consecutive field goals to make it 26-3. Chris Rodriguez added a two-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter before Hill’s long score for the Ravens.
