Trégunc Hosts Parabadminton Discovery Event and Wheelchair Challenge

La Halle des Sports Alice Milliat in Trégunc will host an open parabadminton showcase this Saturday, Oct. 3, from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. local time (12:00–13:30 UTC), featuring adapted badminton drills, wheelchair challenges, and free admission for all visitors.

Saturday Afternoon Showcase at Halle des Sports Alice Milliat

The afternoon session aims to introduce adapted badminton to the public. Local organizers designed the schedule to welcome both individuals with disabilities and able-bodied players interested in discovering parabadminton disciplines. A wheelchair challenge will run during the event, offering a filled grocery basket (“panier garni”) as a prize for participants.

Prénationale League Match Follows at 4 p.m

The sporting afternoon continues immediately after the parabadminton showcase with regional league action. Trégunc’s senior squad will face Maure-de-Bretagne at 4 p.m. (14:00 UTC) for the second matchday of the Prénationale season. Spectators attending the parabadminton discovery session are invited to stay and support the local team, known locally as “les Vert” (the Greens).

Saturday’s activities run consecutively at the municipal sports hall in Trégunc, moving from disability-access sport promotion straight into competitive regional league play. The schedule provides local fans with an afternoon combining inclusive sports participation and competitive club support.
