The Judo Nomad Visits Judo Beauce During World Tour

French judoka Julien Brulard, widely known as The Judo Nomad, visited Judo Beauce at its Saint-Georges dojo on October 13, 2026, as part of an ambitious global tour to offer free training sessions worldwide, according to a report by L’Éclaireur Progrès.

Global Tour Reaches Saint-Georges Dojo

Brulard has built his ongoing worldwide journey around a distinct mission: traveling to every country recognized by the International Judo Federation. During each stop on the itinerary, the French athlete provides free training sessions to the clubs that invite him. His visit to the Saint-Georges facility brought his total count of visited countries to 66.

The visitor’s schedule in Quebec included hands-on instruction across multiple age groups and skill levels. In the afternoon, Brulard took charge of training sessions for the local Sport-Études program. Later in the evening, he transitioned to leading the adolescent and adult classes, where participants worked directly with the international competitor.

International Resume and Coaching Experience

Before launching his nomadic tour, Brulard competed at the elite level as a member of the French national judo team. His coaching credentials include work on international sidelines, having served as a trainer during the Commonwealth Games and at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

Local organizers noted that the athlete’s background and practical guidance left a mark on the club members who attended the sessions. “His impressive background and passion for judo inspired everyone who had the chance to cross his path during his time in Beauce,” the Judo Beauce organization stated following the visit.
