Rubble and Crew build solar farm to restore power for concert

Rubble and the crew built a giant solar farm on top of the community skyscraper to restore power after a city-wide blackout halted a concert by Frieda Funkel, Pilot WP reported.

Solar Farm Installation at Adventure Bay Skyscraper

The incident began during preparations for a major evening concert featuring pop star Frieda Funkel at the local baseball stadium. As the construction crew finished setting up the stage, testing the lighting rigs, and activating the sound systems, the immense electrical draw triggered a complete blackout across Adventure Bay. With the city’s power grid overwhelmed by the floodlights, audio stacks, and large digital screens, the entire municipality plunged into darkness just hours before the scheduled show.

Searching through reference materials for an immediate fix, Wheeler identified the need for a dedicated solar park to handle the heavy energy requirements. Because ground-level space within the urban center was entirely unavailable, the construction pups pivoted their strategy upward. They transported solar panels to the roof of the Adventure Bay community skyscraper, mounting the photovoltaic modules to harness direct sunlight and generate the necessary off-grid electricity.

Concert Recovery and Projected Viewing for Gourmet Gabriel

The renewable energy installation successfully brought the stage lights back online in time for the performance. The resolution also benefited local resident Gourmet Gabriel, who had sustained a foot injury during the blackout and could not travel to the baseball stadium venue. With the power restored and the skyscrapers operational, the system projected a live video feed of the concert onto the side of a downtown skyscraper, allowing Gabriel to watch his daughter’s performance from afar.

Frieda Funkel delivered the headline performance of the evening, debuting a new song composed specifically as a tribute to her father.
