Balenciaga and Lamborghini Launch New Fenomeno Hypercar Capsule Collection

Balenciaga and Automobili Lamborghini have expanded their high-fashion partnership with a new limited-edition capsule collection inspired by the Fenomeno hybrid hypercar, designed in Sant’Agata Bolognese. The release builds on an ongoing collaboration that originally debuted in May 2025 alongside the Autumn 2025 line, bringing motorsport aesthetics directly into luxury ready-to-wear and accessories.

Racing Aesthetics and the Fenomeno Hypercar

The core of the new capsule focuses heavily on technical outerwear and structured silhouettes, featuring pieces crafted from racing-inspired leather, drill cotton, and heavy jersey. The leather motorcycle jacket serves as the centerpiece of the collection, offering a clean, structured cut that remains soft and flexible when worn, while its details are echoed in a Balenciaga Grey cotton drill baseball cap that favors elegance over loud motorsport graphics.

Complementing the structured outerwear, the capsule offers relaxed everyday silhouettes. Each garment features graphics inspired by the Fenomeno and carries the phrase “…closer than it appears,” an ironic nod to automotive rearview mirror warning labels tailored for a speed-themed drop. The persistent presence of the Lamborghini shield and the bespoke lettering act as a visual thread connecting the technical outerwear with the more casual graphic basics.

Ultra-Luxury Pricing Available in Select Stores and Online

The collection commands ultra-luxury price points. Decappottabiliontheroad reports that baseball caps start at nearly 500 euros, T-shirts at 650, and the hoodie at 950. Technical jackets climb to 2,390 euros, while the flagship leather motorcycle jacket reaches 8,750 euros. The capsule is available immediately at select Balenciaga stores and through the brand’s official online platform.

The broader partnership extends well beyond apparel. According to official Balenciaga disclosures, the collaboration encompasses ready-to-wear, leather goods, jewelry, and accessories, featuring models like oversize bombers and trompe l’oeil layered shirts displaying motifs of the 2025 Lamborghini Temerario. Accessory updates include new iterations of the Rodeo, Hourglass, Explorer, and Carrie bags adorned with the Lamborghini Shield emblem, alongside Dashboard pouches and Temerario keychains.

To mark the rollout, global flagship locations—including Avenue Montaigne in Paris, Taikoo Hui in Shanghai, Greene Street in New York, the Miami Design District, the Dubai Mall, The Hyundai in Seoul, and a special site in Toranomon, Tokyo—feature outdoor installations with Lamborghini Revuelto supercars wrapped in region-specific colors and Balenciaga graffiti decals. Select flagships in Paris, Milan, and London are also exhibiting exclusive editions of German artist Yngve Holen’s Platooning Facial Skeleton series, which deconstructs authentic Lamborghini car components to reveal their anatomical design. Additionally, in-store driving animations featuring Automobili Lamborghini by Vesaro simulators equipped with authentic Lamborghini parts designed alongside Lamborghini Centro Stile will be available at Balenciaga flagships on Rue Saint-Honoré in Paris, Sloane Street in London, and Taikoo Hui in Shanghai.
