Rankup Sports Sponsors Seoul SK Knights for KBL Season

Basketball equipment brand Rankup Sports has joined the Seoul SK Knights as an official sponsor for the current Korean Basketball League season, expanding its footprint among professional basketball fans at Jamsil Students’ Gymnasium in Seoul.

Seoul SK Knights Partnership Brings Quiet Basketball Ball to Jamsil Students’ Gymnasium

The brand has integrated its promotional campaigns directly into the arena’s infrastructure during home matches.

A large LED video board running along one side of the court displays promotional footage for the company’s flagship product, the Slippery Quiet Ball. Additional advertisements appear on the upper tier of the spectator seating stands, featuring the tagline Anytime, anywhere, noise-free basketball practice ball.

The brand’s logo also appears on LED panels attached to the basketball basket supports. The layout ensures the company’s branding captures both in-stadium spectators and television broadcast cameras during live shooting sequences and offensive plays.

Slippery Quiet Ball Designed for Indoor and Apartment Dribbling Practice

The core of the sponsorship centers on the Slippery Quiet Ball, an engineered training basketball designed to drastically reduce the sound generated when bounced on hard floors. The product targets players and fans seeking to practice ball-handling and dribbling inside noise-sensitive environments like apartments and indoor facilities.

The equipment addresses traditional training limitations where time and location restrictions prevent consistent repetition. By lowering decibel levels during impact, the ball provides players with an alternative training environment.

A Rankup Sports representative stated that the company chose to partner with the Seoul SK Knights because basketball fans gather in large numbers at the arena. The company expressed hope that spectators watching live matches would feel inspired to pick up a ball themselves, aiming to support off-court practitioners just as much as athletes on the court.

Fan Experience and On-Site Product Demonstration Plans

Rankup Sports plans to maintain its advertising presence throughout the SK Knights’ home schedule while rolling out on-site experiential opportunities for attendees. The company intends to allow supporters to handle the equipment directly during matchdays.

The partnership seeks to elevate brand recognition inside professional sports venues while demonstrating the practical everyday utility of the training ball for consumers looking to incorporate basketball training into daily life.
