Pradines Badminton Wins 8 Gold Medals at Gramat Tournament

Pradines Badminton claimed eight gold medals during the opening leg of the departmental youth circuit in Gramat, leading a strong regional turnout that featured 80 competitors aged 5 to 17 across 182 matches.

Gramat Tournament Brings Together 80 Young Badistes

Local reports show that the tournament held on Sunday brought together forty players from the Pradines club alongside peers from across the department. The one-day competition scheduled 182 matches to accommodate players ranging from minibad through cadet categories on the courts in Gramat.

Pradines Badminton competitors secured eight gold medals over the course of the tournament. Club representatives highlighted the strong sportsmanship displayed by all participants both on and off the court throughout the Sunday event.

Gold Medals Showcase Pradines Youth Talent

The club’s gold medal haul spanned multiple age divisions, led by Chloé Boumbaly in minibad and Amélia Cuche in poussine. Timéo Boumbaly captured gold in poussin while also competing up in the benjamin division, alongside Rose Bourmaud who took the benjamine title.

Additional gold medals went to Clément Andrieu, who won the benjamin category before claiming victory in minime, and Mathéo Valentin in cadet. Anna Boumbaly secured gold in minime while winning the cadette bracket, and Théo Soupa rounded out the top podium finishes in cadet P.

Silver medals went to Axel Margot and Savannah Cuche in minibad, Maélyne Guirado and Eden Poteau in minime, and Yvan Prokin in cadet. Timéo Batista earned bronze in minibad alongside Tinaël Soupa in poussin.

Boumbaly Family Leads Club Success

The Boumbaly family delivered a clean sweep across the entries, securing three gold medals from three players. Chloé, Timéo, and Anna Boumbaly each finished atop their respective podiums during the Gramat competition.

Club Schedules Youth Circuit Stop and Training Gathering

The next stop on the departmental youth circuit is scheduled for Sunday, December 6, in Le Vigan. Before that fixture, the club will host a pedagogical gathering for players under 11 on Saturday, October 17, from 14:00 to 17:00 local time in Pradines, featuring games, workshops, quizzes, snacks, and matches.
