Matin Kim Opens First Beijing Store at China World Mall Alongside Exclusive Launch

South Korean contemporary fashion brand Matin Kim has opened its flagship store in mainland China at Beijing’s China World Mall, spanning approximately 188 square meters and featuring an industrial aesthetic of exposed walls and cold-toned metals, ELLE China reported. The October debut follows a partnership with the Shenzhen Zeying Fashion Group to handle all mainland operations across physical retail and digital channels.

Beijing China World Mall Flagship Opens With Industrial Design And Neutral Palettes

The Beijing retail space utilizes a monochrome palette of black, white, and gray alongside modular layout partitions to separate ready-to-wear apparel, accessories, and bags. Open circulation paths and glass partitioning organize the interior merchandising around the brand’s unisex tailoring and utilitarian outerwear. The opening builds on an ongoing retail rollout that also saw a Shanghai location debut at Réel Department Store on October 24, according to brand retail disclosures.

Executives Host Ribbon Cutting And Exclusive Product Launch

Matin Kim hosted its first mainland media event and a launch ceremony for a Beijing-exclusive baseball cap on October 23 at the China World Mall store. Executives from South Korea’s HAGO HAUS group joined Zeying Fashion Group founder and chairman Oscar Wang, China World Trade Center deputy general manager Aryna Choi, and New Ocean Jiashang Group chairman Gao Yang for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony. The event featured a private preview for fashion media and influencers, alongside a public release of the city-exclusive baseball cap at 15:00 local time.

Fall And Winter Collections Highlight Unisex Tailoring And Layering Pieces

The newly opened stores showcase autumn and winter collections focused on gender-neutral silhouettes, including retro-styled athletic sets, layering tops, cargo trousers, and sweatpants. Outerwear lines feature lightweight down jackets alongside heavy cold-weather coats utilizing quilting techniques, matte finishes, and diamond patterns. Accessories such as knit beanies and bowling bags round out the seasonal merchandising mix across both mainland locations.
