Filmmaker Marghe Morello is preparing her upcoming fiction feature film, whose script will participate in LabColombia 2026, alongside a new documentary and the second edition of the Danza No Foco videodance festival. With a career spanning 25 years in the audiovisual sector, the Italian-born director and multidisciplinary artist continues to expand a personal artistic language bridging performing arts, cinema, and television.
From Santiago de Compostela to International Festivals
Morello began her audiovisual career in Santiago de Compostela creating promotional videos for theatrical, circus, and dance companies, music bands, and venues such as Sala Nasa. Her independent work includes writing, directing, and producing music videos, short films, and documentaries that have aired on national television networks and secured domestic and international awards. Her formal training includes a postgraduate degree in cinematography production from the Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya in Barcelona, a master’s degree in creative documentary from Pompeu Fabra University, and studies in camera and lighting techniques at the Asian Academy of Film and Television in India.
