The fifth edition of the “Bonaerenses en Carrera” event brought together participants from youth categories, people with disabilities, and senior citizens. Organized by the Government of the Province of Buenos Aires through the Ministry of Community Development, headed by Andrés Larroque, this year’s broader competition drew a record half a million registrants and gathered over 30,000 participants for the final stage in Mar del Plata. Alongside the 10K race, Thursday featured ongoing medal ceremonies and final matches in disciplines including 3×3 cestoball, robotics triathlon, esports (Free Fire and League of Legends), judo, wrestling, and taekwondo WTF. Final swimming events also started at the Parque de los Deportes, while artistic gymnastics, figure skating, and cultural categories such as circus arts, photography, literature, and rock concluded.
