JSA Bordeaux Hosts Bask’Fête 2026 at Salle des Peupliers

The JSA Bordeaux basketball club is organizing the Bask’Fête on October 10 and 11, 2026, at the salle des Peupliers in Bordeaux, featuring youth matches, elite fixtures, and family animations with free admission, Bouger à Bordeaux reported.

Two Days of Competition Across Youth and Elite Categories

The event splits its schedule to highlight both grassroots development and competitive play. Saturday, October 10, opens at 10 a.m. with youth games featuring U13 and U15 categories, followed by U18 women’s fixtures in the late afternoon. Confirmed matchups on the opening day include the JSA U13 team facing AS Tresses, and the U15 women meeting US Chartrons Bordeaux.

Sunday, October 11, shifts focus to elite regional competition. The JSA U15 squad hosts CEP Poitiers at 1:15 p.m., followed by a 3:30 p.m. match between the U18 team and CTC Avenir Toulouse Basket under the competitive framework established by the French Basketball Federation for the season.

Interactive Floor Challenges and Family Activities

Alongside the scheduled matches, the weekend features on-court contests including half-court shots, free throws, three-point attempts, and a basketball circuit combining one-on-one play, layups, and shooting stations. These practical challenges allow spectators to test skills seen from the stands without formal tournament pressure.

Off the court, the venue at 5 allée des Peupliers hosts a band, a stadium announcer, and musical programming. Outdoor areas feature lawn games including cornhole, darts, and Mölkky, supported by a refreshment stand, food service, and a raffle.

The event incorporates the club’s basketball school, with young players walking out alongside competitors during team introductions to connect youth initiation with elite competition. Detailed schedules remain available through the official JSA Basket pages, with free entry provided across both days.
