Josh Allen led Buffalo Bills past Las Vegas Raiders 33-30

Josh Allen led the Buffalo Bills to a 33-30 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium, pushing Buffalo’s record to 5-1 on the season, SPORT1 reported. The quarterback finished with 255 passing yards and two touchdowns, highlighted by a backward flip-pass to Keon Coleman for a score.

Bills build early lead before Las Vegas rallies

Buffalo capitalized on its opening possessions to establish control early in the game. Tyler Bass converted field goals from 44 and 28 yards out, and Allen connected with Khalil Shakir on a nine-yard touchdown pass to cap the team’s first three drives.

The Raiders responded through Ashton Jeanty, who powered through for a short rushing touchdown. Matt Gay added two field goals for Las Vegas, including one as the first half expired to tie the game at 13-13.

Gardner-Johnson ejection and third-quarter momentum

The Bills played the second half without C.J. Gardner-Johnson. Officials ejected him with 15 seconds remaining in the second quarter for unsportsmanlike conduct after he appeared to spit in the direction of several Raiders players.

Despite the absence, Buffalo seized control immediately after halftime. Dorian Williams intercepted a pass from Kirk Cousins, setting up the offense in favorable territory. Allen capitalized by executing a backward flip-pass to Coleman in the end zone, extending the lead to 23-13.

Late-game drama and final possession

Las Vegas erased the deficit during the fourth quarter. Gay added another field goal, and Cousins threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to Tre Tucker to tie the game once more.

Buffalo answered immediately when James Cook III scored on a rushing touchdown, followed by a subsequent field goal from Bass that stretched the margin to 33-23. Cousins brought the Raiders within three points by finding Tucker again, this time for a 44-yard touchdown with 1:32 remaining on the clock. However, the Bills recovered the ensuing onside kick and ran out the clock to secure the road win.

Statistical leaders and upcoming schedule

Cousins finished the contest with 313 passing yards, two touchdowns, and one interception for Las Vegas. Tucker led all receivers with 97 yards and two touchdowns on the afternoon, while the Raiders dropped to a 3-3 record.

The Raiders return home next week to host the Los Angeles Rams at Allegiant Stadium. The Bills enter their scheduled bye week with a 5-1 record.
