The nationwide call spans all ten communes of the Aysén Region as well as municipalities nationwide, targeting initiatives designed to boost physical activity and sports development.
Four Funding Lines Target Training and Competition
The National Fund for Sports Development (Fondeporte) structures its 2027 funding cycle across four distinct categories. Organizations can apply for backing in Formación para el Deporte (Sports Training), Deporte Recreativo (Recreational Sports), Deporte de Competición (Competitive Sports), and Ciencias del Deporte (Sports Science).
Grants range from neighborhood training schools and inclusive community workshops to applied sports research and the participation of athletes in high-level competitions.
Eligible applicants include recognized sports organizations, community groups, and local municipal governments. All activities funded through these resources must remain entirely free of charge for participants.
Institutions Must Update Legal Documentation for Valid Submission
To secure a valid submission without administrative delays, institutions must maintain their legal documentation strictly up to date. It is fundamental to have valid certificates of legal personality and board of directors issued by the Civil Registry with a maximum of 60 days of antiquity, in addition to registering no pending financial accountings or debts with the IND.

In the Aysén Region, Regional Sports Jorge Ojeda Molina urged local organizations to review their documentation well in advance and utilize the digital submission platforms before the final cutoff to prevent technical difficulties. The regional IND team is available to assist applicants throughout the window. A previous formal consultation stage extended between October 11 and October 15, 2026, through [email protected].
Projects must also include detailed budgets—including value-added tax—that align with the authorized expense catalog for each category. Participating organizations must also subscribe to the national protocol against harassment and abuse in sports under Supreme Decree No. 22. Technical and administrative bases, reference tariff schedules, and forms are already publicly available.
Regional Offices Hold Training Sessions Before November 6 Deadline
Ahead of the closing date, regional offices rolled out informational and training sessions. For instance, training events were scheduled in La Serena at the Estadio La Portada VIP lounge and at the municipal hall in Ovalle, as reported by Diario El Día.
For regional applicants in Aysén, inquiries can be directed to [email protected]. Official project submissions must be processed exclusively through the digital portals at the official IND portal or the sports projects platform prior to the November 6 deadline.
