Fifteen Young Achievers in Guayaquil Honored for Excellence in Science, Sport, and Art

Fifteen girls and adolescents from Guayaquil, ranging in age from 6 to 17, are being honored for their achievements across 13 diverse disciplines spanning science, technology, sports, and the arts. The recognition ceremony is scheduled for October 15 at 11:00 AM local time at the Centro Cultural Olmedo, as reported by El Telégrafo.

Third Edition of Súper Niñas 2026 Celebrates Local Talent

The awards form part of the third edition of Súper Niñas 2026, organized jointly by the Fundación Mañana Será Bonito and the Municipality of Guayaquil. The event coincides with the International Day of the Girl, highlighting young participants who have accumulated achievements in fields that include computer science, mathematics, chess, karting, swimming, judo, music, and dance.

“Behind every medal, project or presentation exist years of learning, effort, discipline and constancy,” said Verónica Molina, director of the Fundación Mañana Será Bonito. Organizers stated that the initiative aims for the honorees’ achievements to serve as close, relatable role models for other girls interested in academic, athletic and artistic pursuits.

The 15 recognized individuals cover a wide spectrum of specialized fields, reflecting achievements in both technical and creative domains. The roster of honorees and their respective fields includes:
